Our Change To

“The world is changing, I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air*” We all know that the world is changing. Global warming, yes. Continental Drift... extremely slow; we don't notice even a tiny movement, but, yes, it is happening. However, what I want to say is about our own behavior. In some ways it is getting better; nevertheless, in more ways it is getting worse. First, let’s talk about how we are getting better. The first thing coming to my mind is medical aspect. Medical treatment has improved significantly, resulting in long life span. For example, medicine now can treat many diseases once considered as fatal. The availability of information has also risen. Via internet, we can reach every information we want. Transportation has improved. Now, it is much easier to travel where we want. So is communication.
All right, now for the bad stuff that's going on in the world. I think this is going to be long!
Murder, robbery, rape, pollution, war, plague, and so forth… people becomes more and more greedy. Individualism becomes more and more popular. They are devoid of sense of humor and sincerity. People living in the same apartment even do not know one another’s name. Fight is everywhere. Fight for new position, fight for new resources, fight for power, and fight for nothing important. The malignity of the world is everywhere, in your city, in your school, even in your class. I think it is inside of us. The more we are greedy, the more we will help the evil. People are always in a rush to go somewhere. They do not care the important elements of our lives. Family is not so important anymore. They do not have time even cooking. They consume mostly unhealthy processed food. Human relations are weakening and the features that make us human are no longer considered important. Even though it is true we are evolved technologically and in many materialist aspects, we are missing the big picture. We become mechanized in our relations. It is your choice to decide whether this change is good for us or not.

I DO NOT WANT TO BE DEMOCRATIC

I do not still understand why America and other western countries want Iran to stop its nuclear activity. That does not mean I support Iran. However, it is a well-known fact that America, Israel, Russia, and many others have nuclear weapon. While they have this kind of bombs, is it true to interfere in others. They say democracy is here in west, but I cannot see any justice in this situation. In France, the parliament is trying to legislate on denying so-called Armenian genocide. Where is the freedom of opinion? And why is France is so interested in such a situation? Another example, when Libya had a civil war, France and other European countries rushed to help(!) Libya. France air force bombed hospitals, schools, harbors, in other words, they destroyed infrastructure of Libya. After the civil war is over, French and British presidents went there and said: “we will help you.” I cannot understand why the whole world is silent. Because Libya has no qualification in rebuilding the country with its own source, European countries are voluntarily(!) help them. IsN’t it modern colonialism. The same has happened in Iraq. Although I do not remember the exact reason why America and Iraq is in war, the result is apparent: lots of killed civil people, a devastated country, and an ongoing civil war. America has come to that area in order to bring democracy, and he did(!) I can extend the examples, but there is no need to talk about these problems. Now it is high time to take action. And I do not want to democracy and to be democratic if democracy is something like that.

True Life I am an International Student

1)According to Linxi it is beneficial to study in USA because in china students are not likely to take the courses they want. Moreover, in America there are more opportunities for practice.the MERİCAN EDUCATİONAL SY

2)Krishna thinks the educational system in america is really different from European one. The American one is based on creativity and teamwork, which drew Krishna's interest.therefore, she decided to study in America.

3) In Japan, students need an entrance exam. once you entered the university, you have to choose your major at that time and cannot change your major anymore. In Netherland, the educational system is very strict. they give books, plan everything for you. it is not your choice. However in America it is much more flexible. You can do much more things beside just studying degree.

4) According to Arata, it depends on which department you study and how do you live; nevertheless, they all say that it is about 30 thousand $.this amount includes boarding, room and all the fees you have to pay in USA.

5) Linxi had some problems about communication. later on, she got used to speak in that language. Arata was luckier than others since he experienced studying abroad in beforehand. Krishna, like many other international students, had cultural shock. However, she thinks that difficulties gained her priceless experience like creating new goals.

6) Definitely they have. Cultural shock is a kind of feeling excited, surprised, disoriented or confused in a different or unknown environment. when i first left home and started to live in dormitory away from my hometown, i had some problems to get accustomed to the new lifestyle. however, this process did not last too long.i would like to study abroad but not especially in Usa. it does not matter. Anywhere in the world from kenya to nepal. because what i want from the education is to improve not only my knowledge but also my spirit. I think i will experience difficulties wherever i go. maybe about cuisine, maybe communication, or maybe even surviving.

ONE RİNG TO RULE THEM ALL

" One ring to rule them all,
One ring to find them,
One ring to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them. "

It is the most fascinating movie I have ever seen because the movie gives many important messages to audiences. I think it is the masterpiece of English literature. It is the adaptation of the book written by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. He has created a new world and a new language which is accepted as official language today with this book. He tells the story as if he is living in the story. It is said that, through his late years, he isolated himself from real world and began to live in Middle Earth. As he does not want other people to read the story, he hid every page of the story in different parts of his house. After his death, Christopher, the son, found out the pages and try to bring pages together. Although he was mostly successful, he failed to organize some parts.
I would like to talk about the messages of the movie. I am impressed by the movie because every single character in the movie has an important role, on the way of accomplishing the quest. Even if most people want Sméagol to die, he helps Frodo finish his quest intentionally or unintentionally. Gandalf says: “Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.” Furthermore the character Sméagol is a typical example of human nature. He houses bad and good inside of him. From the beginning to the end, there is a war between bad and good inside of him. Also, even in the worst situation, people there do not lose their hope, and fight with courage. Aragorn says: “There is always hope.” Therefore, I like both the movie and the book so much. The movie explains its message in a subtle but effective way. However, some say good side is Christians while villain is Muslims in the movie. Haradrims, the corrupted men, get dressed like Ottomans, and they use crescent as an ornament in their clothes. Despite of this view, I still like the movie because I care only the good sides of the movie. As I said it is a masterpiece.

I DARE YOU TO MOVE

I think that this song is all about life and its obstacles. It is about things that all of us face at some point of our lives. “Everybody’s watching you now” People usually wait for us to make a move and will either criticize us or praise us. Sometimes, we feel the pressure to please them or to make them proud, in other words, we have to live for other people. "Welcome to the fallout. Welcome to resistance." It reaches a point where we just want to break away from what everyone else wants you to do. I think most people live through such times. Sometimes we want to be isolated from other people and their wishes. It is the breakpoint for us. "The tension is here, the tension is here. Between who you are and who you could be. Between how it is and how it should be" Sometimes we have I difficulty in finding our place in the world and it gets so intense. "Maybe redemption has stories to tell. Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell. Where do you run to escape from yourself? Where you gonna go, Where you gonna go? Salvation is here": You should learn to forgive yourself for past mistakes because sometimes there is only one escape from our past mistakes: forgiveness. No matter how much far away we go, we cannot escape from ourselves. There is something inside of us to remind that memories. If you can manage, just forgive yourself and let it go because it is now behind us. Even though I like the song generally, I don’t think it is so easy. However, there is nothing to do except for trying. Just struggle and never give up. Life is going on.
